There's a version of this story where I tell you about a fancy studio in Atlanta, a lucky moment, and a viral song that made me rich and famous. That's not this story.

I've spent thousands of dollars and countless hours developing my sound, pulling apart hit rap and rnb records, and dissecting what makes great artists. I'm not interested in copying them, but I do want to understand why their records are so big. Why did that chord feel like the perfect backdrop to a confession? Why did that melody make me feel something before the 808 even dropped? Its a story of constant refinement and lots of failure, marked by traveling to rap scenes all around the world and breaking down what makes hits, from a summer in London to years in Tokyo, From flirting with the sound of Chicago to building my roots in Atlanta. 

My Name is Zero Focus, and I've worked with platinum selling veterans and rookies alike. I'm here to help you make better records. 

The Blueprint Nobody Was Selling

The music industry has this sort of dirty secret: the producers landing major placements aren't winning because of bullshit like "expensive plugins" or the right DAW. They're winning because they understand a specific musical blueprint. Great records, from Lil Uzi Vert to Bob Dylan, rely on a certain harmonic language built on tension, resolution, and the kind of soulful voicing that bypasses the brain and go straight to the gut.

Cookie-cutter MIDI packs weren't teaching that. Who wants another MIDI Chord Pack with a bloated file count. Fine, sell me two hundred loops, fifty presets, a hundred sounds — All of it feeling contrived, assembled, but not earned, and ultimately making soulless, boring melodies.

Listen dude, I have spent years deconstructing the exact DNA of Billboard-topping melodic trap records. The suspended minor 7ths in the biggest Pain Trap hooks. The unresolved 4ths that keep a verse leaning forward. The chromatic passing tones that give a Rod Wave melody its weight. I still do this shit, and its something that gives me so much joy. 

And I'm here to give it to you.
